What makes Universal Squash camps so great?

Universal Squash offers camps and tournaments for juniors and adults in many great locations around the world.

Since 1986 Universal Squash Camps have been training players and providing an opportunity for cross-cultural experience. Young players from many countries meet and build friendships and work together to improve their squash games.

Topics & Material covered

Technique, tactics and fitness are the order of the day. If you are going to play squash you need to get to the ball (fitness/movement/position), play a great shot (technique) and put your opponent under pressure (control/placement). Through instruction, drills, coaching, practice, and matches, Universal Squash Camps helps you make improvements to your game in all of these areas.

Typical Camp Environment

Camp

At any camp there is a maximum 5:1 ratio of campers to coaches. The Camp is intense. The emphasis is very much on technique and tactics. The day finishes with match play.

Boot Camp

Some of the camps include a Squash Boot Camp. The difference is as follows:

Squash Boot Camp is very intense, both in the playing and fitness aspect of the game. The ratio of campers to coaches is 3:1. Because of this lower camper to coach ratio, juniors will get more individual attention from their coaches. Squash court movement and fitness, (both on and off the court), is done each day, so be prepared!
